You will be answering questions on various websites.  The purpose of this assignment is to investigate the major failures of the League of Nations and how their inaction directly led to the beginnings of WWII. Please read each site carefully, please analyze each source dutifully, all in an effort to understand how aggressive nations (the bullies) overpowered vulnerable nations (the bullied) and the world (the school) failed to address the problem.

World History: Steps to Dictatorship and Terms

Directions: We will be looking at Nazi Germany as a case study to find out what life in a Fascist nation was like.  To do this, we need a little bit of background on how Hitler came into power and how he organized his regime.

Identify the terms on the document handed out in class.  Do not use Wikipedia for this, rather seek out reputable sources that give you the definition and an understanding without all the unnecessary information.

The backside of the document is to grasp the steps Hitler took to gain power in Germany in the early 1930s. Use the below website to help with identifying the steps to dictatorship.

Website: Steps to Dictatorship

Document from class -- You can not type into this so you'll need to print and write on the document

After the activity, watch the video below to get an understanding of how all of this went down.  Plug in headphones if you have them...
